Bathroom Vanaties

Modern vanity cabinets offer many customization options and are often made to match the design of the room. While pedestal sinks work well in a small bathroom, they do not offer much storage space. The countertop’s length is up to you. Some decorators like a vanity countertop that extends from wall to wall. If you have limited space, a pedestal sink is a good choice. You’ll find vanities in a wide range of styles, colors, and materials.

While they’re ubiquitous, bathroom vanaties can also be a focal point of a room. They’re more than just a cabinet for a sink – they’re also an area where you wash your hands, shave, apply makeup, brush your teeth, and store daily essentials. Whether you want a vanity that sits on the floor or hangs from the wall, you’ll find plenty of options for design and style.

Vanity sizes vary greatly, but typically have a depth of 21 inches. The countertop extends about one-half to two inches beyond the front of the vanity. Vanity width is the most variable dimension, ranging from 30 to 48 inches for single sink styles to 72 inches for standard double sinks. The depth is dependent on the design, and the height of the countertop. Choosing a higher vanity is better if you have a low ceiling and do not have the space to raise the countertop.
